The Reality Merchants:

NPC-SpiderJ01

He’s a dashing special agent with a Ph.D in kicking your a– wait, that’s someone else. Groovy has been gaming since his single-digits, and has refused to let his interests therein stagnate. The last remaining member of the original core trio that started this project, Groovy now carries the torch ever-forward. Without his efforts, this website, company, and continued two-man interest would most likely not exist today. Groovy is a great man among gamers, and yes, Groovy is writing his own company bio. Among other things, he’s also the guy who comes up with most of the ideas around here, as well as the fella who does most of the updating around here. Get used to his perspective, as it’s the one you’ll be reading the most - and of course, that makes him the guy you should yell at when the news is slow.

The Screg (Greg Samford)
Master of Ceremonies

The Screg was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Legend has it that his mother went into labor as she heard the first few notes of Manowar’s first album “Battle Hymns”. It is said that Greg’s birth screams rivaled those of Manowar vocalist, Eric Adams. Greg’s first foray into role playing games was when he bought “Hero’s Quest”. It coincidentally, it was also his first attempt at alternative rules systems as all of the other neighborhood kids were too busy playing basketball to spend 8 hours playing a board game. Greg is known for his story driven games, and his complete neglect of any sort of rules when it comes to gaming. He started working with Reality Merchants during Dragon Con ‘04 when he wandered up to the booth and asked where the Magic Tournaments were being held. That was when Nathanael took the wayward lad under his wing and showed him what real gaming was all about.
